Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment in a fast‑paced field role. You’ll travel daily to customer sites using your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

This position offers a sign‑on bonus, a company vehicle with take‑home service truck, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and retirement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites daily and tackle new challenges.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to standard.
• Log service work accurately and communicate clearly with dispatch.
