Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment seeks a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This field-based role keeps customers running by applying diagnostic expertise on diverse machines.

You’ll work on-site at customer sites with a take-home service truck, earning hourly pay based on experience ($21–$38/hr) plus a full benefits package and a sign-on bonus. No weekends, flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites - every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.
