Job summary

Fraza and Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment in the field. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and travel to customer sites daily with a take-home service truck.

A strong safety mindset and hands-on repair experience are essential. Expect to handle preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant while keeping customers operating.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Travel to customer sites daily; each site presents a new machine and challenge.
• Ensure equipment is safe, compliant, and up to standard.
• Log service work accurately and communicate with the branch dispatch team.

This is a fast-paced, field-based position where you'll use your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers' operations moving.
