Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment seeks a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty material handling equipment. You will work in a fast-paced field-based role, using your diagnostic expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep customers' operations moving.

We offer a pay range of $21–$38 per hour based on experience, a sign-on bonus, company vehicle, flexible scheduling, and a full benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and retirement

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to standard.
• Log service work accurately and communicate with the branch dispatch team.

• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel)
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck
