Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment. This is a fast-paced, field‑based role where you'll diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to keep our customers’ operations moving.

You’ll travel daily to customer sites, perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, and log service work for the dispatch team. A valid driver’s license and a safety‑first mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites daily and log service work accurately for dispatch.

• Hit the road to various customer sites - every day brings a different machine and a new challenge
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team
