Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems at customer sites. This field-based role requires driving to varied sites daily, performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring safety and compliance, and logging service work with the branch dispatch team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety‑first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Hit the road to various customer sites - every day brings a different machine and a new challenge.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards.
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team.
