Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Forklift Service Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of electric forklifts across the United States and Canada. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical components to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role requires 1 year of experience, a basic set of tools, and ASE certification is preferred but not required. Join a growing team with industry-leading benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift experience is required or preferred.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing forklift systems.
• Attention to safety procedures and ability to follow maintenance schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• All forklift repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Component rebuild and hydraulic repair.
• Perform routine maintenance including checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery.
• Tire changes.
• Brake work and related tasks.
• Bolt-on component installation and adjustments.
