Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Forklift Repair to ensure the safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks and material-handling equipment inside the facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair forklifts, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with operations teams to optimize equipment performance.

Minimum qualifications include 18+ years, US work authorization, and 1 year of related experience; trade school degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyors, and related hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Performs preventative maintenance and necessary modifications on equipment and facilities.
Provides equipment status reports detailing maintenance issues.
Follows safety guidelines and OSHA standards to maintain a safe workplace.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment with regular area cleanups.
