Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Forklift Repair to ensure safe, reliable operation of powered industrial trucks in the facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, perform preventive maintenance, and repair forklifts and material-handling equipment to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted warehouse operations.

You will uphold safety standards, maintain service records, and collaborate with operations teams to identify equipment needs and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, as well as technical, mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic issues where needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance as well as necessary modifications on electric lift equipment, conveyor systems and buildings.
• Provides equipment status report, including details of unusual maintenance problems.
• Follows all safety guidelines established by manufacturer, Home Depot, or government agencies. Adheres to all safety codes and OSHA standards.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment, performing daily cleanup of work areas.
