Job summary

The Maintenance Technician - Forklift Repair at The Home Depot is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks within the facility. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair forklifts and related material-handling equipment to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, keeping accurate service records, and collaborating with operations teams to optimize performance while adhering to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Trade school degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with industrial electric forklifts preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical inclination.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment and conveyor systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and necessary modifications.
• Provides equipment status reports on maintenance issues.
• Follows safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment.
