Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Groveport, OH or West Jefferson, OH. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift and reach truck experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This position safely moves, loads, unloads, and organizes materials, maintains accuracy and follows all safety procedures to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift or reach truck preferred.
• Able to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to lift and move materials as required.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and/or reach truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials, products, and shipments.
• Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pull and place inventory in designated locations.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse activities.
• Verify product and material quantities as needed.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
