Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret packing slips and production schedules, with basic math skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs regularly in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift certification is highly preferred or required upon hire; company training provided.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Plex) is a strong plus.
• On-site role located in Polk County, WI; relocation assistance not available.

Responsibilities

• Receive & Inspect: Unload, inspect, and document incoming raw materials for purchase orders.
• Organize & Store: Safely store materials, optimize warehouse space, and maintain accurate inventory using ERP/MRP.
• Support Production: Pull, stage, and deliver raw materials and WIP to workstations to keep production moving.
• Package & Ship: Move, inspect, package, label, and load finished goods for shipment per customer specs.
• Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts (sit-down/stand-up/reach), overhead cranes, pallet jacks; perform daily inspections.
• Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy.
• Safety First: Adhere to OSHA regulations and PPE policies.

Express Employment is seeking dedicated, safety-conscious Forklift Operatorsto join our teams across Polk County, WI. In this critical role, you will ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout our facilities—from raw stock to finished goods—supporting our production and shipping operations.

Shifts & Locations

We have multiple openings with varying shift schedules across Polk County:

• St. Croix Falls (1st Shift): Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Milltown (Full-Time or part time, 1st Shift): Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or Monday – Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Osceola (1st Shift): Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

• Dresser (2nd Shift): Monday – Thursday, 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.50 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive & Inspect: Unload, inspect, and document incoming raw materials for purchase orders.

• Organize & Store: Safely store materials, optimize warehouse space, and maintain accurate inventory using our ERP/MRP system.

• Support Production: Pull, stage, and deliver raw materials and work-in-process (WIP) to various workstations specific to the role and location to keep production moving.

• Package & Ship: Move, inspect, package, label, and load finished goods for shipment according to customer specifications.

• Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck), overhead cranes, and pallet jacks, and perform daily equipment inspections.

• Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy.

• Safety First: Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies while wearing required PPE.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 months to 3 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.

• Proven ability to safely operate forklifts and other necessary equipment.
