Job description

Material Handler/Forklift Operator

The Material Handler/Forklift Operator position is responsible for operating a forklift to help load and unload trailers, haul finished goods and raw materials, and pull internal shopping lists when necessary. This position works in a clean, consistent and safety conscious environment.

The Basics

• Position: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
• Location: N5252 Co Rd TT, Sheboygan Falls, WI
• Shift: Rotating 1st Shift; 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Pay: Starting rate $21.00 per hour; can make up to $24.85 per hour through additional training
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced warehousing environment
• Stand for long periods, get on and off your forklift consistently & safe, bend, reach, grab, and twist
• Accurately complete required documentation
• Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes as needed
• Follow PPE & GMP guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Attend dock meetings for team & company communications
• Product Security Sensitive: ensure outbound shipments meet company security standards
• Safety Sensitive: your ability to perform may directly impact your safety or that of others

Qualifications (Required)

• Basic computer skills
• Read, write, and communicate in English
• Stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab, and twist
• Physical examination and pre-employment drug screening required upon conditional job offer

Preferred Qualifications
