Job summary

Kelly Services currently seeks Sit Down Clamp forklift operators for a large 3PL facility in Chino, CA. Positions are temp-to-hire and require two years of recent experience on Sit Down Clamp equipment (electric/propane). Overtime is mandatory, with shifts from 5am-1:30pm ($18.00), 1pm-9:30pm ($19.00), or 9pm-5:30am ($19.50).

Proficiency with Excel and RF scanning is expected. Responsibilities include stacking, unloading shipments, order picking, inventory control, cycle counts, and safe

Qualifications

• Two years of recent sit-down clamp forklift experience
• Experience with sit-down clamp (electric/propane)
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime

Responsibilities

• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, push-pull equipment
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment
• Ensures exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Performs picking duties meeting customer service standards
• Moves product from staging into trailers
• Operates equipment safely following prescribed methods
• Maintains inventory records and reports for control and security
• Assists in physical inventories
• Ensures proper stock rotation
• Conducts cycle counts as requested
• Must have Excel knowledge plus general computer knowledge
• Basic safety understanding in operating equipment
• Reports safety concerns to management promptly
• Reports inventory discrepancies to inventory control
• Completes inspection forms prior to operating equipment
• Uses RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy

MUST HAVE TWO YEARS RECENT EXPERIENCE ON THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT:

• Sit Down Clamp- (Electric/Propane)

Schedule Available:

• Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm -$18.00
• Monday-Friday 1pm-9:30pm -$19.00
• Monday-Friday 9pm-5:30am -$19.50

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment
• Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards
• Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
• Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security
• Assists in physical inventories
• Ensures proper stock rotation
• Conducts cycle counts as requested
• Must have Excel knowledge plus general computer knowledge.
• Basic safety understanding in operating equipment
• Responsible for reporting safety concerns to management in a timely manner
• Report inventory discrepancies to inventory control team and assists in resolution
• Must be able to complete inspection form prior operating equipment
• Must be able to use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
