Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is seeking a part-time Yard Crewmember in El Campo, TX. You will assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, follow instructions with minimal supervision, and complete forklift certification. Prolonged standing, outdoor conditions, and overtime may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in the yard.
• Load and unload products safely and accurately.
• Respond to customer questions regarding products.
• Move, stock, and rearrange building materials in yard and store.
• Operate a forklift and perform routine safety checks.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in lumberyard and warehouses.
• Verify tickets match merchandise and weather-exposed materials as needed.
• Attend store meetings and training sessions.
