Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is hiring a part-time Yard Crewmember in League City, TX. You will greet customers, assist with loading/unloading, stock materials, and operate a forklift in a fast-paced lumberyard environment.

The role requires forklift compliance training, strong customer service, and the ability to work in varied weather. Prolonged standing, lifting, and overtime may apply; compensation starts at $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required or preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the yard.
• Load and unload products safely and accurately.
• Answer customer questions about products and services.
• Report customer issues to store management.
• Stock and move building materials in yard and warehouse.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in yard and store areas.
• Ensure tickets match loaded merchandise.
