Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 4 (PIT Operator) in New Jersey to safely locate, transport, and load building materials into fleet trailers. The role involves standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position requires forklift experience, basic math, and English reading/writing proficiency. Training follows SOPs, 5S standards, and safety walks to ensure efficient dock operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.
• 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of experience working on electric or gas powered forklift (Must have been previously certified).
• Able to read, write in English and interpret common data and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload windows and doors onto trailers.
• Locate/manipulate stock in the shipping dock and assist with inventory records.
• Adhere to safety walks, 5S, and SOPs.
• Keep trailer and dock area clean and organized.
