Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Forklift Operator to support float loading and material handling in a manufacturing and distribution setting. The role operates a forklift and overhead crane, with duties including ensuring safe operation of equipment, accurate order completion, and inventory updates in the ERP system.

The ideal candidate will be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain forklift and overhead crane certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification.
• Experience in a warehouse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform float loading to optimize multiple loads for delivery coordination.
• Handle materials and operate equipment safely to fulfill orders.
• Ensure machinery and equipment operate properly.
• Complete orders accurately, on time, and without damage.
• Inspect materials, products, and tools for quality.
• Assist with inventory updates in the ERP system daily.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Comply with safety rules and wear PPE as required.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on equipment.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
