Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Warehouse Technician at its Rockford, IL facility. The role focuses on moving product from production to the warehouse, stocking areas, and loading shipments for delivery, using a forklift and RF terminal.

You will work across shifts, adhere to safety procedures, perform staging activities, and maintain clean work areas while supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using a radio frequency terminal (RF terminal) or scan gun.
• SAP experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move product from production lines to warehouse locations using a forklift.
• Read staging reports and move product to staging area with forklift, then scan into warehouse system.
• Use RF terminal to record inventory movements and location data.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Repair pallets and stage goods for pending shipments.
