Job summary

Owens Corning in Ohio seeks a Forklift Operator - Stocking to support finished goods handling in the warehouse. This hourly role reports to the Controller/Warehouse Leader and focuses on stocking materials from production into designated bays.

Candidates should be able to read, write and speak English, lift up to 50 lbs, and obtain a Powered Industrial Vehicle certification. The position operates on a rotating 12-hour shift (B, D) with safety and environmental compliance as a priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be drug and alcohol free.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to bend, lift up to 50lbs, kneel, stoop, stand, drive in a tow motor for 12+/hrs per day.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and moving finished goods to appropriate bays by end of shift.
• Open/reorganize/consolidate bays with changeover schedule in mind.
• Comply with inventory management, including pallet tracking, cycle counts, rework, and returns.
• Use RF terminal to scan product to staging and record movements in the warehouse system.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and recycling procedures for waste disposal and chemical usage.
