Job summary

Kenco Group is hiring a Forklift Operator I in Rockford, IL. You will safely operate powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products for shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities include scanning, labeling, paperwork, and inventory system usage to support efficient distribution. The role requires at least two years of forklift experience, a valid license (or ability to obtain one), a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Two years forklift operating experience or more.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operatePowered Industrial Equipment to move products or materials.
• Load, unload and store products as required for distribution.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan products and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and utilize inventory management systems.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed and complete cycle counts.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report issues.
• Maintain an inspection-ready facility for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor and assist with housekeeping.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
