Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a forklift operator to safely transport materials within the facility. You will inspect equipment, fuel and operate lifts, load pallets, and move doors and raw materials as needed. The role requires adherence to safety SOPs and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Forklift certification is required.
• 1–2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections for safety and compliance.
• Fuel forklifts and perform safety checks on the lift.
• Operate forklift to load/move materials and place pallets.
• Load/unload, lift, and stack raw materials and doors.
• Support production areas with needed materials from inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety rules.
• Work extended hours and overtime as needed, including weekends.
• Certifications must be kept current and machinery operated safely.
