Job summary

GAF is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support safe loading/unloading, order picking, and shipment verification in our Phoenix-area facility. You will gain hands-on experience with forklift operations and inventory control while maintaining a strong safety focus.

The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, daily coordination with the Shipping Lead, and adherence to FIFO and packing standards to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Ability to learn and use warehouse software and manual procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive forklift safely throughout the warehouse.
• Perform order picking, verification, and loading of trucks.
• Maintain safe, organized, and clean work areas and assist with inventory tasks.
• Follow FIFO shipping principles and ensure correct packing slips.
• Assist with process improvements and communicate safety concerns to management.
