Job summary

GAF is seeking a Material Handler Associate to manage shipping process flow, ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, and support the warehouse team. You will use pallet jacks and handheld computers to move pallets from staging to customer trucks, contributing to on-time deliveries.

The role requires flexibility for extended hours and potential 1st/2nd shift work, with a background in manufacturing and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months prior manufacturing experience preferred, in a fast-paced environment.
• UPS Worldship experience preferred.
• Able to operate sit-down forklift and walkie rider; readiness for overtime and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage process flow in Shipping, fulfilling orders safely and promptly.
• Use handheld computers to load trucks and track progress.
• Support warehouse operations and back-up Shipping Clerks when needed.
