The ideal candidate will maintain forklift certification, operate in FIFO shipping, and collaborate with Logistics Planner, Shipper/Receiver, and Maintenance to resolve issues, while adhering to SOPs and JSA guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in a fast paced, logistics (forklift) manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard warehouse procedures.

Aufgaben

• Practices incident and accident prevention, demonstrating safe behavior in all activities.
• Obtains and maintains forklift certification by attending in-house training and completes daily forklift check sheets.
• Replaces the forklift’s liquefied propane gas (LP) tanks.
• Troubleshoots work related issues and communicates issues with maintenance, Shipper/Receiver, and Logistics Planner.
• Drives the forklift safely through the warehouse mindful of pedestrian traffic at all times.
• Ships according to FIFO principles on all items in the warehouse to ensure shelf-life efficacy.
• Prepares product for shipping by reviewing packing slip, hand picking the product and assembling the pallet.
• Ensures correct product delivery by reviewing packing slip and product on truck.
• Learns safety hazards and job procedures by reading SOP and JSA.
• Learns software programs by reading manuals and procedures.
• Suggests improvements in work methods and procedures by communicating to Logistics Supervisor.
