Job summary

General Logistics Systems US is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate a forklift within our warehouse and production facility. You will work with the Depot Manager and supervisors to move, load and unload materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid forklift certification, and proven warehouse experience. You will follow safety protocols, communicate with staff, and assist with training and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to insert weight).
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving and processing of inbound freight with depot and cross-dock teams.
• Offload, process, palletize, and load shipments to meet schedules; direct staff as needed.
• Inspect pallet quality and communicate issues to reduce damages and misrouted packages.
• Maintain safety procedures and coordinate with drivers and supervisors.
