Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a dependable warehouse worker with leadership ability to direct daily tasks, operate forklifts, and ensure safe storage and shipment of products. You will coordinate with supervisors, train associates, and help meet production goals.

The role requires basic computer skills, a GED or high school diploma, and up to 3 months of related experience. Candidates should be comfortable working with various warehouse equipment and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months’ related experience preferred.
• Some computer skills.
• Relevant certifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of others, review shift plan with supervisor.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Move product to storage areas using appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise correctly.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble merchandise.
• Check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain warehouse security and safety practices.
• Attend to physical inventories as needed.
• Operate equipment safely, report malfunctions.
• Comply with OSHA standards and attendance policies.
