Job summary

GLS US is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. You will work closely with Depot staff to maintain efficient material flow and accurate receiving and shipping processes.

The ideal candidate will have forklift certification, warehouse experience, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency. This role supports GLS US’s West Coast network and daily parcel handling operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound forklift operations with supervisors.
• Inspect pallets and load plans to ensure weight and GVWR compliance.
• Communicate with drivers and warehouse staff to maintain timely dock arrivals.
• Assist training of new personnel and enforce safety standards.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
