Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Shipping Fork Truck Operator in Winchester, VA, for a full-time, first-shift role (7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Mon-Fri). Pay is $20.00/hr with a $23.00/hr bump after probation.

The position involves loading/unloading, forklift operation, packing, and inventory tasks at the Winchester facility. The ideal candidate will be forklift-certified with at least two years of experience, basic computer skills, ERP familiarity, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced

Qualifications

OSHA forklift operator certification required.
Minimum 2 years forklift experience.
Able to read a tape measure.
Proficient with ERP systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks.
Position forks and other lifting devices under, over, or around pallets and materials.
Stretch wrap products as needed.
Move stock to storage or for shipment.
Operate forklift controls to move materials safely.
Inventory materials on the floor and supply workers.
Record weights on tags and production schedules.
Maintain forklift and facility equipment; manage refuels and batteries.
Record shipping/warehouse ticket numbers accurately.
Complete pre-inspections and forms.
Inspect bales and report damages or shortages.
Sign delivery receipts when unloaded.
Contribute to a safe and orderly work environment.
Perform other duties as directed.
