Job summary

Huber Engineered Woods, a division of J.M. Huber Corporation, seeks a production operator responsible for operating the strapping station and forklift, unloading units, and staging them for downstream processes.

The role includes assisting in safety programs, training new staff, inspecting equipment, and moving materials across production areas. Shift work, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0 to 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operates strapping station, forklift, and relieves operators in the production of tagged, counted, and strapped units of board.
• Offloads units from the strapper out feed conveyor and stages in designated area.
• Trains new and replacement employees and participates in safety programs.
• Notifies and assists Finishing Operator where deficiencies are noted so issues can be corrected.
• Moves freight, stock, raw materials, finished goods, and other materials as needed.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness according to procedures and regulations.
