Job summary

Qualifications

• Reads routing sheets and related documentation.
• Operates reach truck/forklift safely in a warehouse.
• Performs material handling and staging per work orders.
• Inspects products/packaging and assists with catalog numbers.

Responsibilities

• Determine shipping requirements, packing requirements, quantities, catalog numbers, markings and identification.
• Stage material and prepare inbound/outbound documents; process UPS inbound shipments and returns.
• Store, retrieve and deliver parts/material to the appropriate department.
• Operate material handling equipment and furnish own hand tools.
• Read routing sheets and use tools such as box knife, tape measure, band cutters, and some power tools.
• Pass the Packing and Shipping Operator's Test and certify product catalogs as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
