Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at our Laredo, TX service center. You will move freight in and out of 53’ trailers, operating a forklift on a covered dock while following safety protocols.

The role requires forklift experience and reliability in a fast-paced setting; shifts are Monday through Friday with starting pay of $22.67 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Assist with loading and unloading while maintaining safety.
