Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at our Tallahassee, FL service center. The role involves moving freight safely in and out of trailers up to 53’ long, operating on a roofed dock, and supporting loading/unloading duties.

Shifts run Tues–Fri with early hour starts; benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and access to employee resorts in multiple locations. Training and safety come first.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Support loading/unloading at the Tallahassee, FL service center.

7:00 am Tues - Fri 5:00 am to 10:00 am.

Part-Time, Monday - Friday, Monday 2:00 am

- 7:00 am Tues - Fri 5:00 am to 10:00 am.
