Job summary

R+L Carriers in Arlington, WA is seeking a part-time forklift operator to move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet. You will operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Part-time, Monday - Friday, various shifts. Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days, paid sick leave after 90 days, and an excellent benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance and exclusive employee resorts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Some LTL experiences preferred.

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Maintain situational awareness and accurate records while handling freight.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part Time Forklift Operator at our Arlington, WA service center. As a Part Time Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Requirements:

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences
