Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is hiring a forklift operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment of our manufacturing facility. You will operate a front-end loader and/or forklift and support production under safety rules.

The role requires reading simple instructions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and completing certifications. You will help set up jobs, keep areas clean, and ensure correct material mix to prevent production delays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating guidelines and tickets.
• Must pass internal certification program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, specifically a front-end loader and/or forklift, and production machinery as directed and specified while adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Load bins for production while ensuring product is correct mix and quantity to prevent delay in the production process
• Keep work area clean
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Assist machine operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product
