Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Shipping Forklift Operator in Plainfield, IN for a 7:00am–3:00pm morning shift. The position pays $19.00 per hour, offers On Demand Pay, and may lead to permanent employment after a 90-day evaluation.

This is a full-time role with overtime, including Saturdays. You will operate turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift and walkie stacker; pick cases and pallets; stow product; perform cycle counts to maintain inventory; and follow safety guidelines (safety shoes

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
• Case and full pallet pick - other duties on or off the forklift as assigned
• Stow product
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
