Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team in California. You will efficiently sort, load and unload freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and secure loads inside trailers while adhering to safety policies.

This role requires the ability to work various shifts, including nights, with potential for a shift premium. We offer competitive pay, benefits for those scheduled to work 30+ hours per week, and a non-climate-controlled dock environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Available for days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift safely.
• Secure freight inside trailers and use appropriate shipping tools.
• Follow safety policies and use handheld devices to scan shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
