Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently sort, load, and unload palletized freight on a non-climate-controlled dock. You will use pallet jacks and forklifts, scan shipments, and help secure cargo for transport.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available for days, evenings, nights and weekends shifts.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that may be not climate-controlled for extended periods.
