Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. The role involves efficiently sorting, loading and unloading freight, using forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring secure trailer loads while adhering to safety policies.

You will work on a non-climate-controlled dock, with benefits starting on day one, and opportunities for PTO, holidays, and 401(k) matching. This position is essential to keep shipments moving smoothly at our U.S. facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Able to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends)

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and efficiently, following company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
