Job Description

Position Overview:

The Co-worker operates and maintains a forklift to supply production with raw materials, transfer finished products to storage or staging areas, and load trucks to meet delivery requirements. This role is considered a stepping stone to a Lead position, with assessments for lead roles as they become available.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Operate and maintain forklift safely and efficiently using work instructions, visual management, and computer interfaces.
2. Supply production with raw materials and transfer finished goods to staging or storage areas.
3. Print and scan Bills of Lading for all finished goods using computer interfaces and RF scanners.
4. Visually inspect skid quality before loading onto trailers.
5. Load finished goods onto trucks promptly to meet customer delivery requirements.
6. Complete all logs and data input accurately, including closing sequences on tickets and printing Bills of Lading.
7. Ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisors.
8. Communicate effectively with all internal departments.
9. Perform pre-shift forklift inspections (FCD-1475 Rev.2).
10. Remove or rework damaged products on pallets.
11. Maintain cleanliness and perform general housekeeping duties.
12. Follow all HACCP, GMP, and Product Safety guidelines.
13. Train new and current team members on job tasks as assigned.
14. Work schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, with breaks and lunch per ARP Franklin policy. Overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret safety and operating instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages.
• Reasoning skills to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification meeting OSHA standards.
