Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Forklift Operator, Formula for our Mississippi distribution center. You will operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move freight, stock pallets, and replenish pick slots.

The role requires working in cooler, freezer, and dry areas while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include inventory checks, equipment checks, and adhering to GMP and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10–90 lbs.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment to move freight.
• Locate proper storage slots and stock items using forklift or pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to work orders.
• Inspect products for damage and ensure temperature control and quality checks.
• Follow safety policies and report any unsafe conditions.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at end of shift.
