Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a non-exempt forklift operator to join our yard crew in an industrial manufacturing setting. The role focuses on safely moving, organizing, and assisting in the production of precast concrete products to meet high quality standards.

The position involves operating forklifts and loaders, loading customer trucks, staging orders, and coordinating with delivery staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with > 18k lb. capacity.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment.
• Load customer trucks based on ship tickets.
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections.
• Keep area safe, clean and organized.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
