Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle division is hiring for a forklift operator to support indoor/outdoor manufacturing operations. You will safely maneuver heavy equipment, load/unload materials, and organize product on the yard in compliance with inventory procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift training, and at least one year of forklift experience. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and communicate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass forklift training program.
• At least one year of forklift experience.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures
• Safely load and unload product from flat beds and box trailers
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
