Job summary

Sewer Equipment is seeking a Material Handler to accurately move products with a forklift in our Dixon, IL facility. The role involves receiving, storing, and tracking materials, and supporting shipping activities to keep production on schedule.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, maintaining records, and resolving issues with contractors or vendors. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Receives, distributes, and stores products in designated locations.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped.
• Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; checks accompanying documents.
• Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments affecting schedules.
• Transports and loads materials using hand trucks and skids.
• Resolves issues with contractors or vendors as needed.
• Validates, approves, and forwards invoices to accounting.
