Job summary

Sewer Equipment in Dixon, IL, is seeking a Material Handler to accurately transfer products with a forklift, moving items into and out of the facility in a timely manner. The role requires 1–2 years forklift experience and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Day shift is Monday–Thursday 6:30 am–5:00 pm. The pay range is $17.03 to $22.14 per hour, with a quarterly productivity bonus and a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years forklift experience
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Prolonged standing and physical work

Responsibilities

• Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped
• Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; checks documents
• Expedites shipments affecting the manufacturing schedule
• Transports and loads materials manually or with hand trucks
• Resolves issues with contractors or vendors
• Validates and forwards invoices to accounting
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment
• Performs other related duties as assigned
