Job Overview:

Forklift Operator Lead

The Forklift Operator Lead loads, unloads, stages, pulls, and distributes pallets of product supplies. Rotates floor stock by moving the oldest product first. Performs other warehouse or production duties as assigned. Must be certified. Acts as a lead to other forklift operators, assigning and regulating workflow.

Shift & Schedule:

This is a full-time position on N1: Monday - Wednesday, with rotating Thursdays, from 6:00pm - 6:30am. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled is required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks
• Coordinate materials throughout the facility
• Monitor, count, track, and receive materials
• Direct daily workflow of forklift operators and assist where needed
• Lead the crew with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively, multi-task, and provide feedback
• Load route trucks and semi-trailers with propane or battery-operated forklifts and/or pallet jacks, moving product in and out of the warehouse
• Assist with unloading

Total Rewards:

• Starting pay at $21.36 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. After 6 months, pay increases to $22.51 per hour.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience
• At least 1 year of leadership experience
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
