Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is hiring for a Forklift Operator II to safely operate complex powered equipment including High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck for receipt, storage and order fulfillment. You will ensure product safety, quality, and accuracy across all transactions.

The role requires 1+ years of power equipment experience (6 months minimum), adherence to PPE and fall protection, and a strong sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with daily power equipment operations, preferred; 6 months minimum required.
• Must meet PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to operate powered complex material handling equipment incl. High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp and Double Fork Truck.
• Not afraid of working on equipment at extended heights.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products with pallets to ensure customer expectations.
• Maintain accuracy of storage locations by daily cycle counts and inventory tasks.
• Follow OSHA safety rules; other duties as assigned.
