Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator II in Indiana to safely operate complex powered material handling equipment for receipt, storage, and order fulfillment. You will ensure product safety and quality while maintaining efficient distribution operations.

You will perform pallet buildup, put-away, and cycle counts with attention to detail, in a fast-paced warehouse environment. OSHA safety rules apply throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with daily power equipment operations; minimum 6 months required.
• Must meet PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to operate powered complex material handling equipment (High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp, Double Fork).
• Not afraid of working on equipment at extended heights.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment and customer orders.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products with pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Maintain accuracy of storage locations with daily cycle counts and routine inventory tasks.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
