Qualifications

Position Summary:

Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating forklifts at the Fort Worth facility, cross-trained in all functional areas related to daily lift truck operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Staging orders: Accurately complete order selection, stage orders in designated areas, and follow proper procedures including RF System use, documentation, and product selection.
  2. Loading trucks: Properly load customer orders onto trucks, following safety protocols, equipment inspections, and RF system documentation.
  3. Receiving: Receive and store packaging, ingredients, and finished goods, ensuring proper storage, rotation, quality, and documentation.
  4. Production Support: Support manufacturing by handling finished goods, scanning for reconciliation, and managing product temperature requirements.
  5. Troubleshooting: Address inventory issues, place defective materials on hold, and make location adjustments for NIL, zero balance, or damaged items.
  6. Warehouse Safety: Maintain safety knowledge related to battery handling, pallet exchanges, shrink wrapping, allergen compliance, vehicle inspections, and damaged goods procedures.
  7. Deck Supply Support: Support manufacturing decks by issuing ingredients and managing tote storage according to proper procedures.
  8. FSMA: Comply with Food Safety Modernization Act standards.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • At least one year of stand-up forklift experience and certification.
  • Proficiency in math, RF computer systems, desktop computers, and calculators.
  • Effective reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to identify and communicate safety issues.

Physical Demands:

Jobs require physical strength and dexterity, including sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Work Environment:

Shifts are typically 8-12 hours, with possible after-hours and weekend work. PPE is required. Work may involve outdoor or adverse conditions, vibrations, chemicals, allergens, confined spaces, and heights over 18 feet.
