Position Summary:

Forklift Operator II is responsible for cross-training in all functional areas and routine duties related to daily lift truck operations at the Fort Worth facility.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Staging orders: Accurately complete order selection, stage orders for loading, and follow proper procedures including RF System use, documentation, and product selection.
  2. Loading trucks: Properly load customer orders onto trucks, adhering to safety protocols, equipment inspections, and documentation processes.
  3. Receiving: Receive packaging, ingredients, and finished goods, ensuring proper storage, quality, and accurate computer entry.
  4. Production Support: Support manufacturing by handling finished goods, scanning for reconciliation, and managing temperature requirements.
  5. Troubleshooting: Address inventory issues, place defective materials on hold, and make location adjustments for NIL, zero balance, or damaged items.
  6. Warehouse Safety: Understand safety protocols including battery handling, pallet exchange, allergen compliance, and vehicle inspections.
  7. Deck Supply Support: Support manufacturing decks by issuing ingredients and managing tote storage.
  8. FSMA: Follow FSMA guidelines for food safety.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience to perform major responsibilities.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • At least one year of stand-up forklift experience and certification.
  • Good math skills, ability to operate RF systems, computers, and calculators.
  • Effective communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Understanding of safety practices related to job duties.
